These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of epicvets.com, our online forms, and the text messages and emails we send (together, the "Services"). "EPIC Vets," "we," "us," and "our" mean Emergency Pet Clinic of Temecula, doing business as EPIC Vets, 27727 Jefferson Ave, Suite 105, Temecula, CA 92590. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
These Terms cover the website and our online communications. The veterinary care your pet receives is governed by the consent forms, estimates, and policies you review and sign at the clinic, and by applicable law.
If your pet is having an emergency, call us right away at 951-695-5044 or come to the clinic. Do not rely on online forms, text messages, or email in an emergency; they may not be read immediately.
Information on our website is general and educational. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for an examination by a veterinarian. Using the website or submitting a form does not by itself create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
Our website offers forms such as patient intake and veterinary referrals. When you submit a form, you agree that:
Payment in full is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made in advance. Estimates are our best projection of expected costs and may change as your pet's condition and care change; we will talk with you about significant changes. Our payment and other clinic policies are presented on our intake form.
Program. With your consent, EPIC Vets sends text messages related to your pet's care, such as visit and treatment updates, going-home information, follow-up and recheck reminders, and billing or account notices. We send marketing texts, such as newsletters or offers, only if you separately agree to receive them.
How you opt in. You opt in by checking the text message box on our intake form or by asking our team to text you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of treatment or of any purchase.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your pet's care. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; we will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 951-695-5044 or email [email protected]. You can opt back in at any time by asking our team.
Your number. Please tell us if you change or give up your mobile number so we do not text someone else.
Privacy. Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy, including its SMS Privacy Policy and Messaging Terms, for details.
We may email you about your pet's care, appointments, records, and payments. If you choose to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by submitting false or misleading information, impersonating someone else, uploading harmful files, attempting to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, or interfering with the website's operation.
The website's text, photos, logos, and other content belong to EPIC Vets or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, republish, or distribute our content without our written permission.
The website may link to or use services provided by others, such as payment processors, financing providers, maps, and social media. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the website, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EPIC Vets is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or online communications, and our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). This section does not limit any rights you have that cannot be limited by law, and it does not apply to the veterinary care described in Section 1.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute relating to the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
